For me, this reliably restores the Bluetooth device and Windows can then turn Bluetooth on/off and the device appears in Device Manager. No back panel drivers (eg: lan, wifi, bluetooth, audio, display [luckily I already had my video card and driver installed before the upgrade], etc) would install with any download from msi. It works fine with intel laptop though. This issue is also OS independent, driver updates won't help (I run multiple OS). In my case I have a B550 Aorus Elite AX V2 with the latest bios, I am running Ubuntu, Windows 10 and Gentoo. Edit: ah well, ordered ax210, maybe it’ll work. Edit 2: ax210 didn't help.

17 R5, Bluetooth failure. Hi all, First time dell/alienware (had it 12 days) user here. Overall I am very impressed with my laptop, except for the persistent failure of the Bluetooth device. The Bluetooth on the laptop will frequently fail, with the following results. Device manager claims all Bluetooth Devices are disconnected.
