So my opinion would be to mod a Game Boy Color for a backlight; with its curved back, it'll be way more comfortable for a long Pokemon marathon. Edit: ideally, modding a regular Game Boy Advance would be fantastic, since it's extremely comfortable AND you wouldn't have the cart problem.
